I’m a Software Engineer with a deep love for both technology and creativity. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, allowing me to explore new ideas and perspectives, especially through fiction. The Booker Prize is something I follow closely, as it fuels my passion for literature. I channel my creativity into writing fiction, where I can bring my imagination to life through stories. I also have a strong sense of wanderlust, which has led me to travel across 12 U.S. states, each journey enriching my understanding of different cultures and landscapes.

Experiences

  • Developed and maintained cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, delivering intuitive, performant user experiences across iOS and Android devices.
  • Collaborated closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate wireframes and product requirements into functional mobile interfaces.
  • Built and integrated RESTful APIs to enable secure data synchronization between mobile apps and cloud-based EHR systems, supporting real-time clinician workflows.
  • Implemented unit and UI testing frameworks using Jest and React Native Testing Library, identifying and resolving critical bugs pre-release and ensuring stability in production.
  • Participated in full mobile development lifecycle: prototyping, coding, debugging, performance tuning, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Maintained high code quality standards by applying TDD, linting, and code reviews, and proactively resolved issues related to app crashes, memory leaks, and inefficient rendering.
  • Integrated mobile solutions with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, using Firebase, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions to handle authentication, messaging, and data persistence.
  • Applied Agile development practices, working in fast-paced sprints using Kanban, Jira, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to deliver incremental app updates.
  • Partnered with QA and compliance teams to ensure all mobile features met HIPAA and CARF standards, reinforcing patient data protection.
  • Assigned and designed C++ laboratory exercises for Fall 2024 CSC 1100 students at Wayne State University.
  • Organized and conducted the 'Debug Dungeon' activity, challenging students to identify and fix errors in code.
  • Developed and maintained responsive websites using JavaScript, React, Node.js, PHP, and microservices to ensure optimal user experiences across multiple platforms.
  • Led UI/UX design efforts, creating intuitive interfaces and improving user flow for 250+ clients across diverse industries.
  • Conducted user research and testing to iterate on designs, improving usability and overall user experience.
